"incredible generosity"
T and I went fishing around the cordillera to San Francisco de Sigsipamba we took my jewelery teacher with us but is raining all day so we decided to continue driving in this narrow but good road .....soooo we got to the end of the road and we stop the car one more time like we did all day long to check the breath taking views after turning around, and from no were this small guy tell us hello and we responded and ask the name of the place and he informed us that the name is La Floresta at that moment there was a lady that came to us and we say hello and ask some other things at that moment I ask about a banana tree like, call platanillo that they had in their land near the hose and I ask if there was any way that I can have a little plant, because I have being looking for that plant for a long time and very generously they invited us to get in their kitchen a very small room apart from their house in witch a rustic wood burning stove was on with a put on it ,in the ceiling was a small hole like a chimney she put then some water and some little fresh yellow potatoes that she just finish washing and she explaining to us that she just come back from their land harvesting them and the incredible happened this very poor people were inviting us for lunch and we accept it they brought some chairs and sit T in a small one in front of the stove and she brought some eucalyptus leafs and some branches and give T a small piece of metal tube to blow the fire and kept the fire going and give me and my teacher each one a chair close to a small table, the kitchen had a wood oven to our back in witch all kinds of old puts and pans were piled up, in the floor there was some cuis (guinea pigs) the room was dark from all the smock from the wood the smell in the room was delicious and brought back memories of childhood. Maria Targelia was her name, clean the table and put in it a dish with a delicious salsa made with fresh cheese and aji and a big plate of potatoes and she ask us to eat and they were going to eat later after more than an hour we had to say good bye to our generous hosts we went to our car and ask them to accept some of our food some we didn't eat for lunch and left it for later they were so graciously thankful I think we encounter God in them I feel so humbling thankful and they had 2 of their grand children a beautiful girl (8) and a little boy (3)
